Ipsoot Glacier Elopement, Whistler, BC

As a wedding videographer, I’m used to working under tight deadlines, but we had to move quickly to put everything together. Mila and Navid’s heli elopement to Ipsoot Glacier was planned in 7 days!

Mila and Navid were on a mission. They had decided to take an impromptu trip from Montreal to Whistler, and they wanted to make it extra special by eloping via helicopter. They reached out to me with just 7 days to go before their big day, hoping that I could help them document their heli elopement.

As a wedding videographer, I’m used to working under tight deadlines, but we had to move quickly to put everything together.

Together, we put together an officiant, and a photo and video package to ensure their heli elopement experience was as seamless as possible. We wanted to make sure that they didn’t have to worry about anything except enjoying their special day.

On the day of the elopement, we met at the helicopter base, and as we took off, we could see the excitement in their eyes. They were about to embark on a journey that they would never forget.

As we flew over the mountains, we could see the stunning beauty of the Ipsoot Glacier in the distance. It was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony.

When we landed, Mila and Navid stepped out of the helicopter, and the Nicole performed a beautiful ceremony as they exchanged their vows. It was such an intimate moment, just the two of them and a few of us there to document it all.

After the ceremony, we took some amazing photos of the happy couple, with the majestic glacier as their backdrop. The scenery was breathtaking, and it made for some incredible photos.

Mila and Navid were wonderful to work with. They were so full of love and excitement, and it was an honor to be a part of their special day. Their elopement was a reminder that love can happen at any time, and in any place. Sometimes, all it takes is a little spontaneity and a lot of love to make a magical moment happen.
