A proposal should be the ultimate expression of love. It should be something that would make you feel like you are living in a fairytale. If you are looking for the perfect spot to propose to your significant other, Vancouver offers so many picturesque locations within a short drive, it’s no surprise that this place is often referred to as “The Most Beautiful City in Canada”. You can take your special someone on a scenic drive and propose at sunset over the ocean or over picturesque mountainside, or enlist some friends to help you plan.
Planning for a proposal is no easy task. It starts with finding the perfect location and then finding someone to help you execute it. Von proposed to Maria at a West Vancouver Airbnb on a host summer evening with a ring he’d had his eyes on for some time. It is safe to say that Maria was caught off guard! Von had expressed interest in photography and videography to capture the moment.
Von and friends had booked an airbnb for the weekend to celebrate Maria’s birthday. While Janice and I were waiting at the front yard, coordinating with the group to time our arrival, Maria’s friends managed to distract her while Janice and I took position on waterfront courtyard. Maria turned around and walked up the stairs to find Von ready to get down on one knee.
